I like the look of livetext! I think it will be much easier to get things turned in and it will be less frustrating!

It seems like this new layout will allow users to navigate easier but I think it would be helpful to add another post for just questions. Thanks for all your time and help Tom!!!!

Hi Big Tom
This is my 3rd attempt at this blog posting, the other 2 are somewhere in cyberland or do they delete if you do it wrong?
So thanks again for your time yesterday, you did a great job explaining the techy stuff as ususal!!!
I like the new format. I like having my assignments for each class in one spot without searching through "my work" to create labels.
I have not been able to locate a change the background color source. I like earth tones but are we stuck with brown and orange???

I like that your not required to save a template as your own any more. It seemed strange that a user could have altered the original, in the old live text.

I have a question that still continues to perplex me, even with the new version. Is there someway to undo a mistake, such as in Word there is Edit, undo typing. Many times I have had problems with things that have been erased or formatting that has completely changed my document and really wished I knew how to go back and reverse the new changes. Thanks again for the LiveText training yesterday:)

I like the new interface better because I feel like everything is right at my fingertips. Before, I would spend a good twenty minutes just looking for assignments! I'm a little concerned about the buttons being on the righthand side of the screen, but perhaps Tom could inform us of how to fix that??? No pressure, Tom! :)

Annie Pepper > for the moment you are stuck with black and orange. This may change in the future as the newest version of LiveText becomes more prevalent and developer have more time to tweak the system.

If you don't have a choice at least it is a good Nelsonville York Buckeye theme.

Melanie > anytime you are worried about formatting always attach a word file.

Translating style formats MS Word to an HTML editor(LiveText) is a problem that is much bigger than just LiveText.

If you still need to paste text into LiveText, Arial font, size 10 has had the best success for maintaining the format.

Abbie > if you want to move the navigation buttons for documents to the left side of the screen, you can move the buttons by selecting the tab "edit properties" located below the document title. Next select the style drop down menu and select "default- left side table of contents".

I too find the layout makes more sense...so far. It doesn't feel like you have to go back and forth so much. Haven't submitted anything yet , but it seems just to make more sense, and the old version didn't seem so easy to navigate. I'm sure I'll see if I agree with my initial comments I record here as time goes on!

This new Live Text looks fine. I never really had any problems with the old version, but I suppose everything must become new and improved eventually.

Hi Big Tom!
How again do we add pictures not as an attachment but on the section itself like as clip art?

I have been posting assignments for our IEP to our case study portfolio and I find that the new livetext is easier to use. The only thing that I was unsure of was once you submitted something in the case study folder you just have to go to the My Work tab and it is all right there. I think that is a great because you don't have to go back and forth and get confused on what you have submitted and such.

This past weekend I was looking for my grade for our IEP and it took me forever! I do like the newer livetext, but I wish there was just a link that said "grades" where it would be easy to find.

I have submitted my first lesson plan, which is my second assignment for the quarter. It was much easier this time to figure out if the document was there or not.
